We’re partial to a frothy coffee and a Panini. We have a thing for tiny, Italian cars. We’re not ashamed of getting in our Lycra and shaving our legs for a 60 mile bike ride. We love the hustle and bustle of Newcastle city centre as much as the calm and peacefulness of Northumberland.
But above all, we’re creatives. We get a kick out of producing exciting brands, print work and websites. That’s where you come in.
We’ve been working in the creative industry for over 12 years. During this time, we’ve literally worked on hundreds of projects – including some of the largest, most well respected companies in the North East, Yorkshire, Lancashire, and beyond. We even have clients in California, Chicago and Gateshead. So it’s clear we know what we’re doing.
Some agencies think of a number and multiply it by two. Some work out how much they want from a job, and engineer the quote accordingly. At Stay Classy Creative, we operate a wholly transparent pricing structure. We work out how long we think your job will take, and work out your estimate based on our standard rate of £40.00 an hour, which is half most North East agencies charge.
“Why pink? It’s not very manly, is it?” In professional cycling, there are 3 races called the “Grand Tours”. Each race lasts 3 weeks and covers thousands of miles. The most famous is “Le Tour de France”. However, the grand tour with the most style, most panache, and most sex appeal, is the Italian “Giro d’Italia”. The race leader and eventual winner wears “La Maglia Rosa” – a pink jersey. In Italy, pink is the colour of success, style and determination – in short, the best. Plus, we kinda like the colour.
As you’ve probably guessed, we like cycling. So what better way to demonstrate this whilst getting our name about than starting up a race team? In association with Well Handled Ltd (patient handling training), Hills of the North (cycle sportive event), and 22 Stone Cyclist (the boss man), the team will compete in local and North of England cycling time trials.

There’s more to a design agency than pretty colours and fonts. We have the ability to take a step back and have a look at your business as a whole, and help guide and direct you in a direction that helps you tell the world what your company is actually about. It might be scary to put all your eggs in one basket, but when it comes to marketing this is usually the best way. It ensures that everything is on-brand, from the big stuff like your marketing collateral, advertising, PR, exhibitions, packaging, signage and uniforms, to the smaller things such as internal documentation, email signatures and telephone messages.

Some said the Internet would kill print. If anything, we think the opposite is true. The requirement for good quality print design has never been higher. We like to produce print that tells a story, and acts as a tangible reminder of your business. We love drawing. In fact, we spend a lot of time sketching our ideas down on paper before committing them to the Mac. We solve a lot of our problems by doodling. We’re all artists at heart. Sometimes, an illustration or a cartoon character is just what’s needed. We’d like to think that character based design work is one of our strongest cards. In fact, we’re that good, other design agencies come to us for our character illustration!
Photography We understand that great looking photography is key to great looking design. Sure, stock photography is flexible and reasonably priced, but sometimes you’ll need more. It might be anything from a shop interior to a stunning landscape, but whatever the requirement, Stay Classy can not only take the shot, but also ensure it fits coherently with the project.
